KNEC confirms payment date after funding release
KNEC has announced that invigilators, supervisors and other personnel who participated in the administration of the 2025 national examinations will begin receiving their payments from Thursday, August 6.
The confirmation comes amid sustained concerns from examination officials over delays in settling their allowances months after the completion of the national assessments.
KNEC Chief Executive Officer David Njengere confirmed the payment timeline after the Ministry of Education released the funds required for the exercise.
According to Basic Education Principal Secretary John Ololtuaa, the ministry has already disbursed the money to KNEC, clearing the way for the council to process payments.

Parliament updated on delayed examination payments
