Thousands of students placed in universities through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) can now access their admission letters as public universities begin preparations for the September 2026 intake.


Several institutions have opened their admission portals, allowing successful applicants to download admission letters, joining instructions, and complete online admission procedures.

Universities That Have Released Admission Letters

The following universities have confirmed that admission letters are available for the 2026/2027 academic year:

  • Kenyatta University
  • Moi University
  • Maseno University
  • Kisii University
  • Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST)
  • Maasai Mara University
  • Dedan Kimathi University of Technology

JKUAT has announced that admission letters are still being processed and will communicate once they are available.

How to Download Your Admission Letter

The admission process varies slightly between institutions but generally involves the following steps:

  1. Visit your university's official admissions portal.
  2. Log in using your KCSE index number and examination year or the required credentials.
  3. Accept the admission offer where applicable.
